From Here On, was displayed at the Inaugural ball in NYC. This installation was a combination of elements created over the past 5 years. The piece was an interactive environment encouraging people to think about their hopes that came along with a new president. It incorporated collage work by David Ort that focused on Americana and found objects from Brooklyn. The work included a functional door which allowed people to walk through it “into the future”. There they were met with vibrant leaves on which they could write in a garden of mirror, objects and ideas.
